Position Summary:
The Perioperative Technician functions as an integral member of a team of care providers in the Operating Rooms of the Perioperative Nursing Unit, who reflect a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm, and mutual respect. The team, consisting of the registered nurse, surgical technologist, anesthesiologist, surgeon, anesthesia technician and perioperative technician provide patient care and supportive services that are directed toward achievement of patient care outcomes, improving service levels, reducing the length of hospitalization and decreasing costs.
Opportunities are available with our University Hospital, and The James Cancer Hospital.
*Please note- This position's pay starts out at $11.37 and commensurates with experience.
