Position Summary
The certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) works under the supervision of a physician anesthesiologist who is a member of the Medical Staff with privileges to provide anesthesia services. Except for emergencies, all anesthetic delivered is done so under the supervision of the attending anesthesiologist. Minimum Qualifications
Licensed by the State of Ohio as a registered nurse.
Registered as a CRNA with the State Board of Nursing.
Training program is at least 18 months post RN.
Demonstrates competency in airway management and intubation.
Must be familiar with anesthesia related equipment including but not limited to anesthesia machines, EKG monitors, capnography monitors, oximetry monitors.
Continuing education units related to anesthesia of 40 CEU¿s every 2 years.
ACLS certification
Insurance requirements are identical to those of the attending anesthesiolo! gist. Additional Job Information
