Title: Sta! ff Anesthesiologist specializing in Pain Management
Duties: The Staff Anesthesiologist specializing in Pain Management at Cleveland Clinic’s Anesthesiology Institute works at various Cleveland Clinic Hospitals in the Greater Cleveland Area (including Main Campus, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44195; and Richard E. Jacobs Health Center, 33100 Cleveland Clinic Blvd., Avon, Ohio 44011). He or she diagnoses and treats all types of pain in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. In addition to routine pharmacological, psychological and physical pain management approaches, he or she directs appropriate anesthetic or sedation services as required and performs a broad range of interventional pain therapies. Therapies include but are not limited to: trigger point injections, diagnostic nerve blocks, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, sympathetic nerve blocks, neurolytic injections, neuromodulation and epidural local anesthetic or steroid in! jections. Responsibilities also include: using fluoroscopicall! y and ultrasound guided injections; performing inpatient chronic pain consults; collaborating with referring services and developing effective multidisciplinary treatment plans; educating residents and fellows; and appropriate call responsibilities.
Requirements: MD or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate, Board Eligibility or Board Certification from ABMS in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, and eligibility for medical license in Ohio.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience: $300,000.00 per year.
