OTR/MATERIALS SPECIALIST

Description: Kettering Health Network Accounts Payable is currently seeking to employ OTR/MATERIALS SPECIALIST right now, this occupation will be situated in Ohio. Provides care to pediatric through geriatric patients under the direction of an RN and / or Physician in t! he Intra Operative phase utilizing experience, knowledge of equipment and instrumentation to ensure the best possible outcomes. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist / CRNA. Employee orders surgical services supplies and equipment. Updates computer system. Experienced or proficient in PMM and SPM. Assists with proper or Functions as a part of the surgical service team as needed. Provides care to pediatric through geriatric patients under the direction of an RN and / or Physician in the Intra Operative phase utilizing experience, knowledge of equipment and instrumentation to ensure the best possible outcomes. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist / CRNA. Employee orders surgical services supplies and equipment. Updates computer system. Experienced or proficient in PMM and SPM. Assists with proper ordering and maintaining surgical inventory. Researches and resolves problem receipts and invoices. Researches and provides information for Surgical Services. Issu! es POs and assists in billing various companies. Will travel f! requently throughout the network as needed.
BLS, Computer knowledge / keyboarding. Able to communicate in English using both verbal and written forms effectively. Displays effective listening skills. Writes and understands medical terminology.
ORT- Certificate of completion accredited ORT program or applicable on the job or military training. Recommend: Application to sit for certification exam within 1 year. 3-5 years of OR experience preferred.
CST- Certificate of completion accredited ORT program or military training. Current Certification to practice.
