Position Description:
The University Of Cincinnati College Of Nursing (UC CoN) is currently accepting applications for a Special Projects/Programs Coordinator. The person in this position will coordinate clinical and administrative activities related to the CRNA program, Onsite Master's Program, Associate Dean of Community Engagement and Chief Officer of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Primary Responsibilities:
Act as liaison between students, faculty and CRNA program, Onsite Program Associate Dean of Community Engagement and Chief Officer of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Coordinate all administrative activities of the clinical experiences for faculty and students of CON. This includes Critical Requirements Submissions, Credentials, Degree Verification, Clinical Placement letters and confirmations, Clinical Affiliation Agreements and CON Student Body Blackboard Documents. Communicate and present information to faculty, prospect! ive and current students. Serve as Evolve Testing Administrato! r for all pre-licensure students at the college. Retrieve and analyze data from UniverSis and Bi-Query for annual reports, grant proposals, program reviews and credentialing agencies. Assist with travel expense reimbursement and scheduling for Associate Dean and Chief Officer. Prepare typed documents (e.g., correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings, tables, graphs and/or charts). Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Job Characteristic Duties:
Develop and manage projects/programs; establish and carry out related goals and objectives.
Coordinate operational activities.
Monitor and evaluate progress of projects/programs.
Act as liaison with appropriate parties, internal and/or external to the University; participate in project development discussions.
Edit and write reports.
May develop/edit and publish technical publications, promotional materials, etc.
May develop and manage associated! budget(s).
May provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years experience; -OR- seven (7) years experience. Experience must be in coordinating projects and/or programs. Some positions may require at least one (1) year of supervision experience.

Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred or three years' experience in project management or administrative position. Research skills to identify, review and analyze applicable statues, rules, regulations and requirements for authorizing/approval/licensing. Highly PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPo! int and database management, and email skills. Excellent organizational! skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Self-directed with strong initiative and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
