Functions as a part of the surgical team and provides direct care to pediatric through geriatric pat! ients in the Intra Operative and Endoscopic phases utilizing experience, knowledge of equipment and instrumentation. Coordinates and provides patient focused care using an interdisciplinary approach to ensure the best possible outcomes Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist / CRNA and RN continuously. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.
 Current state of Ohio RN Licensure
 BLS, experience in operating room nursing.
 Computer knowledge/keyboarding
 Able to communicate in English using both verbal and written forms effectively
 Displays effective listening skills
 Writes and understands medical terminology.
 BLS upon hire
 ACLS and EKG completed during orientation and TNCC within one year of hire.
