This position is responsible for quality and standards of patient care, performance improvement, program management, business operations, budget and resource utilization, and management development. Current license to practice nursing in Ohio as Registered nurse. BSN required. Masters degree in nursing, health care or business field is required. Fi! ve years minimum related clinical experience which reflects co! mpetence in Surgical Services nursing practice and leadership. Three years minimum related progressive managerial experience. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians. Strong physician relations experience and a desire to work collaboratively with surgeons and anesthesiologists. Knowledge of Surgical Services key clinical, operations and financial metrics. BLS certification required. CNOR preferred.
