Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/! 03/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Our client in Maryland has secured a new facility in Ohio and seeks Ohio Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to perform cases in a surgery center with a focus on Neuro/Ortho cases in an outpatient setting. The position will include general anesthesia in addition to regional anesthesia.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
Required Qualifications
Active CRNA license in OH as well as national certification, ACLS and BCLS
