Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts:! 8 Hour/Day
Busy level I trauma center in Ohio is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide cover for all of June and July. Monday through Friday, no call and no weekends. Experience with trauma and pediatrics is required. Regional experience also required. Other case types include ENT, OB, neuro, urology, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
