This position serves as certif! ied registered anesthetist (CRNA) within the Division of Anesthesia servicing Department of Surgical Services. While a CRNA will always be accountable for any anesthetic he/she performs, all anesthetics performed at CMC will be under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist within Children's Anesthesia Group, Inc. "CAG". The CRNA utilizes specialized knowledge, skill, research and competency acquired through advanced professional training to promote optimum care of patients and families within the neonatal/pediatric population. The CRNA utilizes the pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising staff Anesthesiologist to devise a plan for an esthetic induction, maintenance and emergence. BSN, graduate nurse anesthesia program accredited by AANA, CRNA certification and licensure in State of Ohio, CPR, PALS, communication skills, customer service skills, computer skills, good manual dexterity and physical/emotional stamina required. 1-3 years neonatal/pediatric exp! erience preferred.
