Anesthesiologist Physician - (Anesthesiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts:! 8 Hour/Day
Great opportunity for anesthesiology locum tenens in Ohio. Medical center needs an anesthesiologist May 1 - July 31. Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm, no call, no weekends. Level 1 trauma center, exposure to vascular, trauma, orthopedic, and general surgery. Provider will be performing their own cases (no medical supervision). Case types include bread and butter, ENT, urology, neurology, vascular, orthopedic, general gynecology, and trauma. No hearts/thoracic, no OB, no pediatrics under 10 years of age). 4-6 cases performed per day, on average.
As a critical care specialist responsible for pain management and the maintenance of vital life functions, anesthesiologists(locum tenens) are an integral part of the operating room. Anesthesiologists meet with patients in a preoperative setting to determine the best and safest course of action for pain management during the medical procedure, evaluating the patient's medical history in order to come ! up with the optimal course of action. During medical procedure! s, anesthesiologists monitor heart rate, blood pressure and other bodily functions and administer appropriate anesthesia.
