The incumbent will be responsible for creating primary demand for Precedex® , a proprietary pharmaceutical used for intravenous sedation and Voluven®, a plasma volume substitute indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of hypovolemia. This demand will be created through direct detailing to multiple hospital-based clinicians including Anesthesiologists, General Surgeons, Cardio Thoracic Surgeons, Intensivists, Pulmonologists, Critical Care Nurses, and Pharmacists. In this key role, you will establish business relationships, influence decision makers, monitor and assess the competitive environment, achieve territory sales/business goals, and manage territory expenses. Travel is required (10% - 20%)
